App: RecFolder: Screen Recorder (the "App")

This policy explains how the App handles information about its users. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Recordings
Videos and audio recorded with the App are saved only in your device storage (the Movies/RecFolder folder). They are never sent or uploaded to servers of the developer or any third party.
Videos are passed to another app only when you use the share feature and choose that app. The App does not analyze the content of recorded screens or audio, and does not collect it for analytics.
2. Information collected and how it is used
To improve the App, fix problems and show ads, the App uses the following third-party services, which may collect information.

This information does not include the content of recorded videos, audio or screens, or file and folder names. The App does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.

3. Ads
The App shows ads from Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and some other regions, the App asks for your consent to the use of information for ads. You can change your choice in the App under "Recording settings" → "Ad privacy settings".
You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device settings (Google ad settings).
4. Permissions used by the App

| Screen capture (MediaProjection) | To record the screen. Android shows a confirmation screen each time you start recording |
| Record audio | Required by Android to record sound playing on the device (device audio). The App does not record from the microphone. It is not requested if you turn off device audio in the settings |
| Display over other apps | To show the stop button while recording and the record button |
| Notifications | To show a notification while recording |
| Folder access (only if you select a folder) | To show videos recorded on a previous device or before reinstalling. Only the "Movies/RecFolder" folder you select is accessed |
5. Storage and deletion
Recorded videos are stored on your device, and you can delete them yourself in the App or in a file manager app. Recorded videos remain on your device even if you uninstall the App.
App settings (such as the countdown and save folder) may be included in Android's standard backup.

The App is not directed at children under 13.

This policy may be updated as needed. Important changes will be announced on this page.
